Suderbyn is a recently-started collective eco-village being established on the island of Gotland in the middle of the Baltic Sea(www.ekobogotland.se). The workcamp will further develop the gardens and build up eco-infrastructure/farm buildings. W: Work on various projects connected with organic permaculture gardening and eco-building. S: How to design a low-impact eco-village and a permaculture forest garden. Practical design work in the field and discussions on developing the future Suderbyn. A: Simple conditions, sleeping on mattresses in the farmhouse, barn or in tents. Primitive shower/toilet, vegetarian meals. L: English Q: strongly interested in ecology, non-violence, simple life style and collective living desirable. Gardening, eco-building, permaculture and cooking skills especially welcome. X: Wheelchair accessibility difficult. Families with children welcome. The camp food, to be prepared by the volunteers, will be vegetarian. Check search engine for update/changes.
