Växjö Solidaritetsförening is a new organisation that connects to the philosophy of the Emmaus movement, which focuses on creating social commitment through collecting and sending used clothes, shoes and medical equipment to Third World countries. The work is to clean the festival area after the festival and it is organised in cooperation with Naturskyddsföreningen (Swedish Society for Nature Conservation) and Hultsfredsfestivalen. The surrounding area is very beautiful and there are forests and lakes nearby.

W: Cleaning of the festival area; sorting of bottles and cans, recycling and other environmental work. Work 6h/day.

A: Big military tent first night. Then in camping cabins on the festival area. Access to toilets and showers on the area. Cooking together.

S: Lecture by Naturskyddsföreningen and Emmaus, discussion seminar on sustainable development, study visit to Emmaus Björkå.
